R. Bruce Campbell
Advisory Board Member
RCG Advisory Board member R. Bruce Campbell has served the
Greater Cleveland community for over 40 years in the business,
civic and religious arenas. Bruce retired from Key Corp.,
one of the nation’s top fifteen banking and financial
services institutions, where he served as Executive Vice President
Administration as well as Chairman of the Key Foundation and
President of the Ameritrust Community Development Bank. Prior
to joining Key, he retired as President/Administration of
the Higbee Company a regional fashion leadership department
store and President of the Higbee Development Corporation.
A pioneer in the Quality of Work Life movement, he was a
founder of Work in Northeast Ohio, a nonprofit firm dedicated
to improving labor/management relations. For the past 15 years
he has operated as a personal mission a nonprofit career transition
center - Employment Connections.
A civic activist throughout his life Campbell has served
as a trustee of over forty organizations, serving as chairman
of eighteen. He has been honored by the State of Ohio and
City of Cleveland for his leadership in Downtown Marketing
and Development.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he received his Bachelor
of Arts degree from Muskingum College and his masters in Business
from the University of Pittsburgh. Bruce and his wife Jane
live in Chagrin Falls a suburb of Cleveland.
