Charles A. Lynch
Chairman of RCG Advisory Board

Charles A. Lynch is chairman of Market Value Partners Company, a management, mentor, and/or advisor resource for existing and emerging businesses. He has had responsibility for 70-plus companies, mainly in consumer related businesses such as specialty retail (restaurants, home centers, apparel, sporting goods), manufacturing (food, apparel, footwear, toys, and home furnishings), distribution, transportation, and hospitality. Mr. Lynch has been chairman and/or chief executive officer of a number of major corporations encompassing his career.

Currently he is chairman and a director of Fresh Choice, Inc., and a director of Spectrum Organic Products, Inc.. He also is a director of The Bay Area Council and an advisor and/or board member of a number of Internet startup companies. Mr. Lynch has been chairman and CEO of DHL Airways, Inc. and chairman of Greyhound Lines, Inc. He also has been a director of over 20 major corporations such as Southern Pacific Transportation Company, KaiserTech, Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, Consolidated Freightways, Industrial Indemnity, Crocker National Corporation and Crocker National Bank, John Blair & Company, Syntex Corporation, Mid-Peninsula Bank, Hexcel Corporation, Nordstrom, Inc., and W. R. Grace & Co. Mr. Lynch is the former chairman of the California Business Roundtable, Palo Alto Medical Foundation and former member of the board of directors and chairman of the United Way of the Bay Area.

Charlie graduated from Yale University and has an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws from Golden Gate University. He resides in Atherton, California with his interior designer wife, Justine.
