Thomas P. Noonan

Thomas P. Noonan recently retired as President and Chief
Executive Officer from BAC Florida Bank, based in Coral Gables.
He joined the BAC Group in 1995 as a member of the board and
in 1998 was named President and CEO.
Prior to his career with BAC, Mr. Noonan was President and
CEO of SurFin Ltd., the captive finance company for DirecTV
in Latin America.
Mr. Noonan's background is quite interesting. In the course
of the 24 years he spent with Citibank he worked in Brazil
for five years, the Philippines for four years, and five years
in France. He held senior positions in corporate banking and
corporate finance while in Brazil and the Philippines. While
in Paris he was President and General Manager for Citibank's
businesses in France and Monaco from 1978 to 1983. Mr. Noonan
was Citibank's Senior Executive in Florida from 1983 to 1986,
where Citibank had its offices based in Miami. As Division
Executive for Citibank's World Corporation Group in Latin
America from 1986 to 1991, he was based in New York. Additionally,
Mr. Noonan is past President of the Florida International
Bankers Association.
Mr. Noonan holds a B.A. from Yale University and completed
The Advanced Management Program at the University of Hawaii
while at Citibank. He has also completed six Harvard Business
School corporate finance programs while at Citicorp's Institute
of Finance including Options Strategies, International Mergers
and Acquisitions, Foreign Exchange Risk Management, and Portfolio
Management. He spent one year at the Universidade de São
Paulo (USP) in Brazil as well.
Mr. Noonan is married with three children, and is fluent
in French, Portuguese, and Spanish.
