RCG Professional Firm Executives Benefits Practice

Bruce K. Knox joined Retirement Capital Group in 2004. He brings extensive executive benefits expertise, having worked for many years with professional partnerships, LLC's, and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Knox is responsible for coordinating all of RCG's executive benefits activity for these business entities.

Mr. Knox has played a major role in the design of RCG's ISOP®, and in taking the lead in marketing the ISOP®, he has added several prestigious accounts to RCG's already impressive client list. These include the Cleveland Clinic, Wake Forest University Health Sciences, and The University of Miami, along with some of the leading law firms in the country, including Katten Muchin Rosenman, LLP, and Winston & Strawn, LLP.

Prior to joining RCG, Mr. Knox was the Managing Member of DLG, LLC, and its predecessors dating back to 1973. Mr. Knox specializes in the innovative design, marketing, and sales of selective programs for compensation and benefits to meet the changing needs of corporations, professional partnerships, and not-for-profit organizations.

In June of 1995, Mr. Knox developed the Balanced Benefit Plan - a unique employee benefits concept that allowed publicly-held companies to reduce the cost of providing active and retiree group life insurance.

In the late 1980's, Mr. Knox created the Preferred Risk Consortium Concept as a more effective group life insurance strategy. Since that time, more than 100,000 participants from hundreds of organizations have been placed in the Consortium.

Mr. Knox has been awarded membership in the Round Table, Top of the Table, the Forum, and the Association of Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU). In addition, he has earned distinguished service awards and Presidential Awards from national life insurance companies and has lectured extensively at professional industry meetings.

Mr. Knox has consulted with major life insurance carriers in the development of unique and proprietary insurance products designed to provide employers with more efficient ways to provide group life insurance to their employees.

Mr. Knox holds the professional designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He has over 30 years of continuing education in the insurance industry, and is an NASD registered representative, holding Series 6 and 63 licenses.
