David Stecher has been a leading consultant in the field of executive benefits for more than 20 years.  David was one of the founding members of Retirement Capital Group, Inc. (RCG), formed in 2004.  His responsibilities include leading clients through the design, implementation and administration process of executive benefit plans.

Prior to RCG, he worked in the tax and auditing departments of KPMG Peat Marwick in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following KMPG, David joined AXA Advisors, LLC. As an Executive Vice President for AXA, he headed the west coast operations of AXA’s Executive Benefits Group and managed the San Diego regional office.  He specialized in the design and implementation of cost-effective executive benefits programs for public and large private companies.  As a senior consultant at RCG, Dave contributes a strong background in accounting, taxation and benefits law.

Since moving to the San Diego area in 1997, Dave has become increasingly involved in the local civic community.  His involvement includes the following:

• Chairman of the Board, United Way of San Diego County
• Chairman of the Board, San Diego International Sports Council
• Chairman, San Diego Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way
• Board member, National MS Society, San Diego Chapter
• Athletic Advisory Board, Campanile Foundation, San Diego State University
• San Diego Super Bowl Host Committee
• Director’s Cabinet, San Diego State University Athletic Department

He currently resides in Poway, California with his wife, Linda, and their two daughters.
