We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Consultants

The Benefits Consultant is responsible for forming client relationships, acting as the liaison between the client, third party administrator, trustee, and insurance carrier. An effective Benefits Consultant combines strong listening, questioning, positioning, and presentation skills with knowledge of nonqualified benefit plans, corporate owned life insurance, and plan administration systems.

Duties include:

  • Prospecting and networking with Fortune 1000 companies
  • Marketing efforts and presentations to prospective clients
  • Manage a book of business of nonqualified benefit plan relationships
  • Interface with clients to understand overall objectives and requirements; prepare a plan for each account to identify short- and long-term goals and objectives and how they may be met
  • Coordinate plan implementation with the Design & Analysis and Client Services departments
  • Maintain involvement in all phases of the plan implementation life cycle
  • Anticipate client needs and develop appropriate responses

Requirements include:

  • Series 6 & 63, Uniform State Securities registration (within 60 days) and applicable state insurance licenses
  • Minimum of 4 years of sales experience in the nonqualified benefits industry
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Creative problem solver and technical resource
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
