Nonqualified plans play an important role in distinguishing a company's compensation and reward strategies. Retirement Capital Group (RCG) offers companies the capacity to manage all types of nonqualified plans, including 401(k) mirror/excess plans, Deferred Compensation Plans, Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans (SERP), Retention Trusts, and Insured Security Option Plans (ISOP). Whether the company has designed a simple annual valuation fixed interest plan or a more customized daily valuation plan with multiple company matches and vesting schedules, we will provide the most optimal plan administration solution.

We have created a proprietary database of high quality Third Party Administrators (TPA) serving the nonqualified plan industry. This provides each company with flexibility during the administration phase of their plan and for the life of their plan -- with RCG's experts serving as your guide, each client company can select a TPA that offers the services they need to match their goals, and our clients can be confident that their selected administrator has been comprehensively researched by RCG. If our clients are not satisfied at any time, we will facilitate a change.

Different TPAs utilize a different approach and solution to plan administration. Through RCG's open architecture approach to plan administration, RCG is able to offer multiple solutions to each client's unique needs and wants.

Full Service Solution

 Together, RCG and the selected TPA offer clients a uniquely flexible nonqualified plan administration solution with the expertise of two highly respected providers.

RCG's Role: As your primary contact, we focus on the success of your plan - drawing on our expertise in plan design, benefit security solutions, and plan administration solutions to help you design a plan that's tailored to your needs and flexible enough to keep pace with legislative changes. RCG orchestrates various plan elements - from contribution sources, vesting schedules, matching programs, and deemed investment options - and identifies the benefit security solutions, trust services and plan administration services you need to implement a nonqualified plan offering that is both appealing to employees and efficient to administer.

Selected TPA's Role: The selected TPA provides the technology to record keep the plan. RCG PAS Certified TPAs utilize web-based administration systems that offer a seamless flow of plan information to both the plan sponsor and participant.

In our comprehensive research and evaluation process, we screen and monitor TPAs based on these main factors:

    1.  Stability - Low turnover of plan administrator and stability in management
    2.  Experience - Experience and expertise in nonqualified plan administration
    3.  Technology - Flexible administration system with highest level of security

 To ensure that each client continues to receive first-class plan administration service through the life of its plan, RCG devotes considerable resources to monitor each TPA. We conduct annual plan sponsor and participant surveys and meet with each TPA to rate overall performance compared to similar firms in the industry. To make sure that our clients take advantage of state-of-the-art technology and best practices in plan administration, we continuously identify and monitor TPAs.
