Ernie Godshalk is Managing Director of ELGIN Management Group, a private investment company. From February 2001 until retirement in December 2004, Mr. Godshalk served as President, Chief Operating Officer and a director of Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, Inc., a supplier of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

From April 1999 until February 2001, Mr. Godshalk served as Varian Semiconductor's Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From November 1998 until April 1999, Mr. Godshalk was Vice President, Finance of the semiconductor equipment business of Varian Associates, Inc. Mr. Godshalk is a director of Verigy Ltd.
