David W. Stecher

David Stecher joined Retirement Capital Group, Inc. (RCG) in 2004. His responsibilities include leading clients through the design, implementation and administration process of executive benefit plans and compensation consulting engagements.

Prior to RCG, he was a tax and auditing accountant for KPMG Peat Marwick. In 1986 he joined AXA Advisors, LLC. As an Executive Vice President for AXA, he headed the west coast operations of AXA's Executive Benefits Group and managed the San Diego branch office. He specialized in the design and implementation of cost-effective executive benefits programs for medium-size companies. Mr. Stecher brings a strong background in accounting, taxation and law to his role as executive compensation consultant.

Since moving to the San Diego area in 1997, Mr. Stecher has become increasingly involved in the local civic community.

His involvement includes the following:

• 1997 - Present Board member, National MS Society, San Diego Chapter
• 1999 - Present Chairman, San Diego Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way
• 2000 - Present Board member, San Diego International Sports Council
• 2001 - Present Athletic Advisory Board, Campanile Foundation, San Diego State University
• 2002 - 2003 San Diego Super Bowl Host Committee
• 2002 - Present Board Member, San Diego Tribute to Heroes Foundation
• 2002 - Present Director's Cabinet, San Diego State University Athletic Department
