RCG Announces Joseph P. Kennedy II to Join Advisory Board
SAN DIEGO, December 15, 2005
-- Retirement Capital Group, Inc. (RCG), a leading provider
of executive compensation and benefit solutions, today announced
the addition of Joseph P. Kennedy II to the RCG Advisory Board.
Mr. Kennedy presently serves as Chairman and President of
Citizens Energy Corporation, a non-profit company channeling
revenues from successful businesses to fund and operate a
wide array of charitable programs in the U.S. and abroad.
During the oil price shocks of the late 1970's, Mr. Kennedy
founded Citizens Energy with profits from global petroleum
trading and refining deals to reduce the cost of home heating
oil for the poor and elderly in Massachusetts. He started
innovative ventures in the natural gas, electricity, and conservation
industries before stepping down from Citizens in 1986 to spend
12 years in Congress.
While serving on Capitol Hill, Mr. Kennedy was an outspoken
advocate of efforts to leverage the private market to address
social needs, human rights, and economic opportunity around
the world.
After his return to Citizens in 1998, Mr. Kennedy launched
Citizens Health providing low-cost prescriptions and medical
care to the uninsured, and further expanded the company’s
efforts to provide low-cost heating oil and natural gas.
Mr. Kennedy also serves as Director of Provide Commerce,
a publicly traded internet retailing company.
"We are excited to have Joe on the RCG Advisory Board.
He will beneficial to us as we expand into the Northeast,"
