RCG Announces the Opening of Boston Office

San Diego, CA - May 1st, 2007 - Retirement Capital Group, Inc. (RCG) today announced the opening of a new office in Boston, Massachusetts. The office is a part of RCG's strategic plan to open offices in key regions nationwide in 2007, while it continues to expand its product offerings.

Chris Rich and Chris Wyrtzen, former Senior Vice Presidents with Clark Consulting, have joined RCG to anchor the Northeast practice. They bring with them many years of experience in the nonqualified executive benefits area. "One of my first acquisitions while running Clark's benefits practice was to add their operation to the firm. We did that because of the value the two of them brought, I'm happy they are now back on my team," said Bill MacDonald, RCG's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to being acquired by Clark Consulting in 2001, Chris Rich and Chris Wyrtzen were principals in Lyons Compensation & Benefits, a Northeast Regional Executive Benefits firm. Chris Rich is a CPA, a CFP, a CLU and a Licensed Insurance Advisor. He is a graduate of Colgate University (BA), Boston College (MBA) and Bryant College (MST), and was previously a Tax Partner with Ernst & Young.

Chris Wyrtzen is a graduate of Clark University (BS), and Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management (MBA), and has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Executive Benefits Consulting. "Chris Rich and I were attracted to RCG because of the strategic direction that Bill MacDonald brings to the organization. He has a vision for the future of the nonqualified plan marketplace, and has systematically brought in the key players and relationships that will allow RCG to deliver on that vision. We're excited to be part of the team," said Mr. Wyrtzen.

The Northeast region and Boston in particular, have always been important to RCG. With Joe Kennedy as an Advisory Board member and its affiliation with Longfellow Benefits, RCG expects to expand and improve its sales and service to its clients. "We are excited as they will add a lot of depth to our organization in the Northeast," adds Mr. MacDonald. "We look forward to leveraging the RCG relationship in the growing Northeast marketplace," said Mr. Rich.

RCG is also excited about the momentum it's Insured Security Option Plan (ISOP®) product, specifically designed for Professional Partnerships, "S" Corps, LLCs and Nonprofits, has been achieving. With the adoption by high-profile healthcare organizations and major universities, it has quickly become the standard for meeting the specialized needs of that market. The ISOP® has also become a solution in the corporate arena as a result of recent regulatory and reporting changes.
